Important sections of I.P.C for CLAT/AILET/SET/DU LAW

Indian Penal Code is the mainstay of criminal law in India. It is applicable to entire India except Jammu & Kashmir (Ranbir Penal Code is applicable here.) The code was drafted by the 1st law commission,in 1860 under Lord Macaulay.

They are asked on regular basis in law exams,thus here is the compilation of important sections for exams.
